Hey guys remember this? So the company is firing/transferring all the janitors who led this sit in. Around 7/8 people have already been kicked out of LUMS. In all of this, despite its promises the LUMS admin has been enabling MBM to fire the "shararti" workers as they call them

The video of #LUMS students dancing, which has started trending on social media is a typical example of what we call moral panic. The country is literally burning, and some fools are worried about a few kids having a bit of harmless fun. 🙄

As alumus am horrified to hear about the unacceptable behavior of male students at LUMS. Disappointed that so many young men would be part of such a vile facebook group without anyone of them standing up against it. The boys responsible should be expelled. Period.

@Mubasher21 @PatwariExposed @mtfa_ @zainabmsheikh FYI: LUMS has an internal Sexual Harassment Policy & DC. Students can approach the committee regarding the Facebook group. It Deals with Online + Anonymous content, especially jokes, threats and defamation targeting female student(s) at LUMS. No need to use PECA or any other law.

women at LUMS unearthed a FB group of ~600, mostly male, students, which was circulating derogatory, explicit content targetting women. they have now come together in solidarity to demand administrative action against the misogynistic campus culture that aided such an occurence.

The LUMS community has always espoused ideals of diversity, tolerance and respect. Threats to these ideals have to be dealt with reflection and student action. @LumsSAAC stands with the female student body in this testing time. Well done!
