What are the limits for the values of loss-free refractive index in near-IR? Is there anything better than silicon for all-dielectric nanophotonics. In arxiv.org/pdf/2007.06287… we show that it is possible and reveal the paths for the search for these new materials.

The hybrid quantum-classical algorithms are the base for the near-term quantum computing. In arxiv.org/pdf/2007.04424… we present a new variational quantum eigensolver combined with the genetically-inspired ansatz optimization technique.

In TMD heterobilayers one can optically excite spin polarization at sub-ps time scale and preserve it for microseconds. Great functionality for efficient spin-photon interface! In arxiv.org/pdf/2005.13306… we report detailed study of spin polarization dynamics in heterobilayers.
