What an awesome current account surplus in q4. Charts coming soon. We have really upped the ante in services and remittances played a good role. a move to make more for India will anyhow cut merchandise deficit in the coming years.

The great Indian dream is to have your next gen work in high end service industry! No one wants their kids to be in organised mfg / low skill service industry. Never mind this might be 2-3 times better than their own lives! Reason why people are unhappy despite 7% real growth!

As government mulls appointment of three external members of MPC I think it is quite clear that ITF has been largely successful espl. when we look at our experience pre ITF/recent exp of the west Now is the time that we give an ambitious target of 3% with 2% buffer for amritkaal
