I’m not normally one for blowing my own trumpet but I am proud of this one. As I waited to pick medal No 10 up it dawned on me that in 10 days time I will have served HM, my country and my community for 36 years all around the world #myspecialcontribution

On the other side of the coin, Today I got to do one of my favourite bits of the job - helping a confused old lady get home, making her a cup of tea and making sure she is safe and looked after - she was made up with 2 policemen escorting her!
