@LearningForward A6: Being intentional means providing more supports and encouragement to some students and actually inviting them into conversations. It's the difference between asking someone to the dance and asking someone TO DANCE. #StuVoice

@LearningForward A6: Coming from a small, rural town, it always seemed that when #StuVoice was shared it was from the same select group. We had to intentionally seek out the less heard voices. Going to them and having meaningful conversations let them be heard and us listen

@LearningForward We, as a society and educators specifically, have to understand the difference between equality & equity. Usually, we need to enact more equitable policies and practices, not equal ones.
