@isaac_abraham My impression is that all these languages are cherry picking features from FP, carefully avoiding the single feature which truly matters: immutability by default.

Watching live coding streams is surprisingly enjoyable. Why is this not more popular? I don't mean canned "Let me show you how to be a coding rockstar" screencasts. I mean watching real people fumble through problems.

I'm introverted, not anti social. I like people (hard to believe but true), they just also make me very tired. I'm totally awkward with small talk, but I love a meaningful conversation. I don't do large groups well. But I find meaning in small.

Functional language/paradigms have existed for servers for a long time. I'm glad that between SwiftUI/Jetpack Compose/Bolero/Fabulous/Elm, I never have to touch mutation heavy mvc UI frameworks for my personal projects again. No matter the platform

As much as I like Elixir, I still find it hard to reason about without types (typespecs help but still aren't expressive enough). Started using F# more in my personal projects

For 2 decades I have tried to make myself like CSS. I have to resigned to the fact that doing layout in CSS just makes me crazy. Having layout, look and feel, and even animation in one system makes it extremely difficult to get contextual information out of just reading it.
