Thanks to everyone who supported out Tool Sale on Saturday. We sold lots and contributions will help us to run the Tool Library and Mens Shed. If you would like to volunteer with us or join in with the shed, then please get in touch or drop in Mon 10-12 or Tue 5-7.

TOOL SALE. Saturday 3rd Sept - starting 10am at The Vennel, Linlithgow. We'll have lots of excess stock and items that might need a little clean-up. Wood planes, chisels, garden strimmer, and lots more for sale. Pop down and take a look.

Out Tool of the Week for this first day of Sept is an Upholstery kit. various items available for hire to restore an old chair or sofa. Perhaps it just needs new webbing to give the seat cushions some support. The Webbing Stretcher is ideal for that.

We will be having a Tool Sale on Sat 3rd Sept at The Hub (old library at the Vennel). Pop down and see what we have for sale. or if you wish to donate tools for re-sale or use within our library, please let us know.

Tool of the Week. This week we've highlighted our little Owl energy monitors. They clip around the wire going into your electricity meter and help to display what energy you are using. Smart Meters these days do that, but for folks with the old disk meters this is a solution.

Linlithgow Tool Library is back on Twitter after a few issues with the old account. Tool of the Week, this week, is a Tile Cutter. The perfect tool for splitting tiles. Simply score the tile, and use the handle to cut the tile.
