4/8 בפברואר 2023, נפטר השהיד הרון אבו עראם, שנורה בצווארו שנתיים קודם לכן על ידי חייל ישראלי שכנראה האמין ששווה לרצוח בן אדם כדי להצליח לגנוב גנרטור. הרון שכב שנתיים משותק בכל גופו וסבל מכאבים עזים, עד שפצעי הלחץ שהתפשטו בכל גופו הרגו אותו.
3/8 עודה הוא השאהיד השלישי ממסאפר יטא, בארבע השנים האחרונות. בינואר 2022, נהג גרר שפלש יחד עם משטרה לכפר אם אלח'יר כדי לגנוב רכבים מהתושבים, דרס למוות את ראש הכפר החאג' סלימאן אל הד'אלין.
2/8 תושבי אם אלח'יר וחבריהם לא זכו להתאבל כמו שצריך על מותו. בזמן ימי האבל, ישראל מנעה מהמשפחה לקבור את אהובה ושלחה חיילים לגרש ולהכות את האבלים. בזמן ימי האבל ישראל בנתה מאחז בלב הכפר שלהם, ממשיכה את ההתעללות והגירוש.תחת השלטון הישראלי, אין זמן לעכל. אין זמן להתאבל.
