@SaraEisen This anticipated worldwide recession is entirely preventable if cooler heads prevail & a worldwide Trade negotiation between the US (Trump Admin) & the WTO (rest of the world) could reset all tariffs (to zero on both sides) to free trade status (perfect world) 3/?

@SaraEisen Sarah, you could setup & host a G30 or G50 tariff negotiations conference (at the UN?). Then the world stock markets would at least be able to postpone the coming crash and subsequent Great Depression or Recession (semantics). Free trade, or as close to it as possible 4/?

@SaraEisen Is the best way for the world economy and society but not politically possible. But the politics of NOW seem to beg for an attempt to negotiate a deal between at least the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, China, Southeast Asia, Japan and BRIC!

@SaraEisen In 1987 only the stock market crashed, the economy was sound & chugged along just fine! Eventually the market’s hysteria gave way to the fundamentals of the economy and recovered nicely. In 2008 it was very different, the housing bubble & ridiculously under capitalized banks 1/?
