I cannot watch Johnson start these games over Odobert anymore I canāt Odobertās ability to stand his man up off his first touch every time is so so good Johnson canāt even collect his first touch in less than two He has to only be used in specific situations
Bournemouth have been incredible out of possession But we just lack technical footballers who can handle the ball under pressure It takes one little feint to escape a press, or one little intricate combination to beat 1/2 players and the game will massively open upā¦
My biggest pet peeve with van de Ven is how WEAK his headers are Half of his headed clearances end up with an opposition player on the edge of the box
Kudus in the 10 half time has to be, need someone willing to take the ball under pressure centrally Our midfield is terrified of the ball with a man on their back
This game is screaming out for Solanke ffs Richarlison hasnāt helped us once, canāt pin his centre back, keeps losing balance
Bournemouthās press has been very very good. We canāt get out at all, midfield arenāt willing to be brave and receive under pressure. Think going more direct to Kudus is the answer here. His ball retention is incredible and allows us to play through their shape with one ball.
