As said yesterday, no curling yet. But there was cleaning! 🧽 We were able to get our curling club fix by volunteering for summer cleaning.

So. I’ve curled year round since I started 2 and a half years ago. Now, unless I go to play downs or something in August, I won’t be able to curl again until October. 1-4 times a week, year round, for 2 years. To all my #curling folks on this app — what do I do now? 🥺

Came up short in the final. Skipper and I missed important shots on the back end. Not the ending we wanted for our last game as @Lonestarcurling club members but it was a blast. See yall next year, Lone Star. 🫡🫡

3-0 for SFCC. Our reward is 2nd seed in the B division. 7 teams were 3-0 and we had the 6th best DSC of them. Looking forward to playing the Tusken Curlers. We were struggling early in this one but were able to un-ass ourselves and pull it out. Didn’t have to throw last rock.

May Open Bonspiel at @Lonestarcurling Good curling all around first game. Throwing vice and hit some nice shots. Brought skipper in from Wisconsin. Lost to him at Big Spiel and at Traverse. If you can’t beat em, join em. 😅 He threw some killer rocks. Two games tomorrow.

Last two league night shots ever for me at @Lonestarcurling. Take outs on each side of the house. Again, boy howdy it’s nice to play on A after a flood. Almost felt like we were curling on non hockey ice on these shots.
