When your system is already overwhelmed but requests keep coming in, we use exponential backoff. Each retry waits longer (2s, 4s, 8s…). To prevent a flood of retries at the same time, jitter adds randomness to these delays, spreading the load more evenly

The simplest way to understand a queue: A producer creates tasks and sends them to the queue. A worker then picks up a task from the queue, executes it, and returns the response to the client. If the task fails, it goes back into the queue to be retried
