Spotted, growing on someone very recently interred, in a churchyard in South Cambridgeshire. These are oxlips! Known from local woodlands but not hugely common. Did someone plant them here, or have they emerged from the seed bank?
@LynnDicks there are no other plants that size nearby amongst the disturbed soil so I think it's safe to say they have been planted. They would need at least a year to get to that size from seed and if they had grown in situ then they would be surrounded by grasses.

@LynnDicks I planted one today in my garden as it happens . Bought months ago from a tree/plant place in Cambs. So they are for sale. Here's a pic of a local wild one... (paler inside?)
