Please help! ISO ideas to support a S who is new to US, Arabic is her native language, but she does not read/write in Arabic & doesn’t speak English. In a reg Ed math classroom with iPad/Google translate. Any ideas of where to start? #mtbos @challemeier

I try really hard to make sure my Ss know the “why” behind everything. After working out some integer operation review today, a S says “man, you are soooo extra!!” I think it was a compliment, or at lease that’s what I’m going with. @challemeier @KatherineSchack #mtbos #iteach

Alternatives to reassessing on a Gr 7 fractions unit? I just can’t bear to give them another test. I want them to be actively engaged in authentic production of their knowledge, but need something “on paper” for data...#mtbos @challemeier @KatherineSchack
