Did you know? Despite the progress made, Tuberculosis (TB) remains the world’s second leading cause of death from a single infectious agent in 2022, following COVID-19. Each 𝗱𝗮𝘆, over 4,100 people lose their lives to TB and close to 28,000 people fall ill with this preventable and curable disease. In Middlesex-London, about 10 people become sick with active TB disease each year. It’s not just a disease of the past – it’s a reality in many parts of the world, and in your own neighbourhoods.
