Tomorrow! A rally to demand action on cruise ship pollution in #RedHook! The City must fix the system, make it usable for every ship visiting Brooklyn, and, as per @alexaforcouncil’s proposal, EVERY ship must plug in EVERY time! For 17 years Red Hook has been fighting for this!

The citizens are suing Bar Harbor for not obeying our ban on booking anymore cruise ship passengers from mobbing our land base tourist destination. It has been decided by a 58-42% margin to limit the number of passengers to 1000 per day. But our TC continues to sign up more.

UPDATE: This bill just advanced in the FL Senate Rules Committee. The sponsor, @NickDiCeglie, claimed a late-filed amendment resolved all Everglades concerns. It doesn't resolve ours. Undercutting citizens' ability to challenge harmful growth is bad for water and wetlands.
