This is outrageous. I know from teachers that pupils using toilets during lessons is a recurrent problem, but this isn't the solution. Students aren't prisoners, and their use of toilets, which includes girls on their periods, is a private matter. uk.yahoo.com/news/school-cr…

The association between Jews and wealth is one of the most toxic and pernicious tropes imaginable. It is used by the far-right to fuel antisemitic hate, and, alas, has the power to cause rifts within the political left. Most wealth is in the hands of white gentiles.

The only think more absurd than #identitarianism is the sense of #supremacy some people derive from their identity. No-one enters the world saying I'd like to be a cishet white Israeli man on the Autistic spectrum or a gay mixed-race German woman with a physical impairment.

Clearly, I'm 'too thick' to understand, but unless you adhere to a rigidly defensive, manichean view of the world, how can you condemn one form of religious and ethnic bigotry but champion another? Either you condemn ALL forms of bigotry, or you are, at best, a flaming hypocrite.

Being good is easy. Anyone can be good (which isn't to deny that many people aren't). But being courageous, that's the real test of a person's character. Taking a principled stance that may incur a personal cost, and even upset people we love and/or respect, is hard.

NO ONE should be persecuted on account of their race, ethnicity, sexuality, sex or disability, but neither should anyone expect to be put on a pedestal on account of any of these identities. Not only is it wrong in principle to do so, it is a recipe for resentment.
