It’s that time of the year. Monsoon has officially arrived over #Kerala, most of #TamilNadu, and parts of #Karnatka. We are running 7-10 days ahead of normal arrival times. Look for quick advancements into northeastern states, more parts of Goa, Andhra, & Karnatak in next 3 days.

Rain/snow line has been racing eastward into central Ohio. Heavy snow is occurring with rates are likely reaching / exceeding 1” rates. Even though this doesn’t last more than 2-3hrs, but many areas can pick up quick ~2”, possibly 3”. Dublin already seems to be ~0.5” #OHwx

#Milton is continuing to move faster and beginning to approach Sarasota. Eyewall already creating havoc for Tampa / St Pete. Surge levels also rapidly rising to major/catastrophic levels from Sarasota down to Cape Coral, reaching as high as 10-15ft.

Right over Tampa! Wow. As mentioned few moments ago, if you are along the western coast of #Florida, prepare for heavy rain, winds near the coast, and storm surge.

Seems like #Helene will continue to move NNE through landfall and arrive close to Perry, Florida (possibly a bit more west). Interestingly enough, this is also where Idalia made landfall last year too. Stay safe everyone impacted from this storm system. #Tropics
