SMS error codes are vague. So SMS platforms give vague answers on why messages fail. So brands get pissed off at their sms solution provider for not delivering messages. TLDR: People just want transparency about their messaging. #messagingops

Make key features great and let less essential features be just okay. Don't spread yourself thin trying to make everything perfect; instead, double down on what truly drives user outcomes. TLDR: Build s*** that matters

I keep running into companies managing their SMS deliverability with tools like Retool & Tableau. Yes, they’re great tools, but puts more work on product & engineering teams to maintain a solution that does a half-a** job and still needs countless people to manage.
