I just came across this nostalgic image taken from THE VERY FIRST play session for Counter-Strike BETA1. Notice how awful our pings were... This was peak dial-up internet back in 1999. The map is cs_mansion.

Same test as before, full server on Mirage playing Window getting multi-frags without dying, Valve Official Server. Looking at the other results and how they sit around the same values outside of tiny variations it seems plausible that my PC ran the slow frames better this update

Quick glance on the update: "Fixed case where overlapping smoke clouds would prematurely extinguish molotov fire." This is a pretty big one, made you always miss a moly next to a smoke if there was two. Anything else you see that is good?
