As a mother, I’m in the minority here: I don’t see the issue. We have a million places we can take children. Why do you need to take your kids to a bar? & when my parents take the kids for a weekend, we tend to go places without kids as well. Throw in a dog & that’s just a bonus

#AmericanNightmare as a victim of rape and called a liar… This hit hard. And it shows why women don’t come forward. There was physical proof, and they called her a liar. It took another woman determined to find this victim and save her to get them to finally listen. Beyond sad.

Is there some reason this would be an issue for you? Because the only reason for a parent being concerned about their child talking to a medical professional without them… would be fear of the medical professional finding out about abuse. You got something to fear?
