@karnatakaspcb had asked BBMP to to implement leachate treatment facility even in the past approval and no action was taken and status quo remains still. There is absolutely no movement seen on this as in now 2/8

@karnatakaspcb pcb observed that polluted water is emptied in to a rajakaluve that would pollute the lake that is the primary source of water for nearby villages. They don’t even maintain records of how leachate is treated. Stagnant water has not been cleared as instructed 3/8

We request @Srinivas_IFS @karnatakaspcb to revoke the approval given to the SWM plant in Chikkanagamangala as it’s in violation of conditions set and SWM Rules 2016. We wonder why it was granted in the first place when two of its own notices to BBMP went unanswered. 1/8

Attached pics,motor deployed on the lake bed to pump out water from the lake and kill for good. As per HighCourt RF# 565/2008, land belongs to govt. & leased to NICE for development. Does this mean water bodies/lake can be killed for commercial property? Can @BlrCityPolice help?
