The Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center and Battle of Bunker Hill Museum will be closing at 2:30 pm today, 12/23. Tomorrow, 12/24, they will be open until 4:30. Both buildings will be closed on 12/25 and reopen on 12/26 at 10 AM.

Having possession of artifacts from a National Park Service site is a violation of federal law, so the best course of action is to return the artifacts to the park from which they were taken from. Be as specific about the location that the artifacts came from as possible.
We appreciate visitors' efforts to right these past, accidental wrongs. None of us are infallible and we all make mistakes. Hopefully this has been a learning experience, with an opportunity to fix past errors.
