U don’t need to “upskill” or learn new skills. U are born endowed w a certain skillset which u work and upgrade on everyday without conscious effort really. What u need to do is constantly repurpose the way ur innate skills can best be fit in the contemporary world.

We live in the most globalized, capitalist world, with as frictionless transmission of information as it gets, and yet there truly is no competition if u have a bit of talent. The right vessel for ur talent has to find u though. U’ll never find it urself. And that can take time.
