To start our seeds unit, we brought a whole bunch of dirt into our sensory bin for students to explore. The students were SO excited to find ants in the dirt, and to “release them back into their home”. 🐜☀️🌲

Have you heard of Scratch Poems? 📝Here is a sample from my Knowledge Giveaway Project that showcases my learning! I simply scratched out words from my Teaching Indigenous Perspectives textbook to make an authentic poem! This activity could be used at any grade level!
