Hey @DrDanBalderson, look what we did in grade 5 today! The second annual Croft Cup was a huge success! I told all my students about how I did something similar in university and wanted to bring the fun to them! 😊🥅🏒

Grade 5 funny of the day: the kids were bonkers and I was waiting patiently for one student in particular to stop talking... he paused for a moment realizing I was waiting, looked to me, shook his head, then said “kids these days. Am I right, Ms. Croft?”

Grade 5 funny of the day: “Ms. Croft, will we be learning about body parts this year?” “About the bones in your arms? Your heart muscle?” “No... the other body parts” “oh yes, yes we will be learning about...” “AAHHHHH NOOO”. Grade 5’s are the best!!! 😜

We are taking a chance in grade 5 this year! Every student created a butterfly and wrote two chances they are going to take this year. Looking forward to an amazing year! @drrobinbright @harkness_rhona amazing what you can do with a picture book!

The student you see every morning in the hall who you say ‘good morning’ to but yet never looks up or responds. Keep trying... you may never get a response, but they know you notice them & that reassurance at the start of their day can be life changing. #edchat
