The argument is a home purchase costs more when interest rates are higher.

I would rather buy a $300k property with 8% rate today than the same property at $350k with a 4.5% rate last year.
This is the market we are in and it's a time to buy.
When rates drop, the house will go up $350k and I can refinance to a lower rate.
