Attorney-General Malami's statement earlier today that the National Assembly lacks power to summon President Buhari is complete rubbish. By the combined effect of Sections 88 & 89 of the Constitution, the Senate or House can summon any person or authority including the President.

Soldiers are not trained in law; they do not read people their rights. If you actually act in a way that the law enforcement agents such as Police fail to handle you. And it is decided that the Army should be called in, don't expect them to read you your rights or handcuff you.
