We here at the Disney Union have fought hard to get our members -checks notes- Everything Disney is giving non union members! And -checks notes again- It's a worse deal than the non unionized Universal TMs got!

This company that made the gondola system typically installs and tests for a week or two and it opens with no problem. Disney tested this for 6 months and it still fucked up.

If Disney bought a SLC today, it would take 5 years to open. And it would open with 6 block zones and a 60 page Operation Guide for their Cast members.

Most people are probably going to blame the gondola company for this accident but it's probably Disney's fault. They take existing theme park tech & over complicate it by insisting on programming & coming up with operational guidelines itself. All on the basis of "We are Disney".

We don’t have any official word on what caused the Disney Skyliner to stop, causing some guests to be stuck for about three hours, but this video from @Ada58974405 seems to show broken glass on the ground. Disney has informed us no one was hurt.

Folks being evacuated from Disney’s new Skyliner gondola system. Hearing NO injuries but appears some kind of collision or incident at Riviera Resort. Again NO injuries. Still not good for new Disney transport system, not to mention all of the Monorail issues.
