6) "Takbir! Allahu akbar!" "From the river to the sea, Palestine must be free!" Students inside and outside of the circle continued speaking and chanting until police approached, commanded them to leave and ultimately deployed tear gas and arrested several.

3) "Ceasefire now!" in this clip taken just before the arrests, you can see what led to them: Activists began erecting a tent with a human perimeter around it attempting to hold the line. "Disclose, divest, we will not stop, we will not rest!" they chanted before cops pushed in.

5) As hundreds of pro-Israel protesters gathered outside Columbia, NYPD also used an LRAD to threaten them with arrest if they didn't get off the street. The group gathered outside the campus gates chanting "bring them home" and later "thank you NYPD!"

4) "There is only one solution! Intifada revolution!" chanted pro-Palestine activists. "Shame on you supporting rapists!" replied a pro-Israel woman. Police used an LRAD to threaten arrest for "disorderly conduct" if they didn't all vacate the sidewalk.

3) Police struggled to keep pro-Israel and pro-Palestine demonstrators separate from each other outside Columbia University, which often turned into tense yelling matches and some pushing. It should be emphasized that neither side was apparently comprised of students.

2) As pro-Israel protesters followed a pro-Palestine activist down the sidewalk, he picked up a metal pipe and faced them. One grabbed the pipe out of his hands, and others reported him to the police. Police arrested him; the charges weren't immediately clear.
