Did you know that @NATA1950 offers a virtual safe space workshop? You can earn 2.25 CEUs and use your member credits to take this course. We think this is a great way to celebrate #pridemonth if you haven't already taken the course!
Many ATs are also teachers, and @safeschools_nc has a great guide to creating a safe(r) classroom space. Most of these things can translate directly to the ATR for those non-teaching ATs as well. Check it out ⬇️
Safe Space Ally Training is offered online (asynchronous) & in-person. You can take the course virtually through the NATA's Professional Development Center. Check out the NATA LGBTQ+ Committee's resource page (nata.org/professional-i…) for a list of upcoming in-person sessions.
