Thank you @gtherolf and @netflix for shedding light on to Gabriel Fernandez's story. Unfortunately, Gabriel's case is not a rarity. Investigators both police and cps must be trained on the medical diagnostic criteria for child torture bit.ly/2VuQkSK #childtorture

Children were found with bruises, malnourished and living in unsanitary conditions. Perpetrator was initially sentenced 10 years in prison, but this was suspended in favor of a 5 year probation. #Childtorture bit.ly/383Tjo7

Three children were beaten, also starved, being fed a diet of only bread and water and even forced to eat dog feces on occasion, locked in closets and threatened with death. The main perpetrator received 5 years in jail. #childtorture bit.ly/366Tvli

The perpetrator beat the child, forced her to run with heavy objects for hours and hit her with a car if she was slow, force-fed her hot sauce, starved her and prevented her from accessing toilets or showers. He received a 2 Year Afford Plea #childtorture bit.ly/369GxmR
