As mayor of the largest Jewish population in the world outside of Israel, the significance of Iran's attack for Jewish New Yorkers — many of whom have family in Israel — is not lost on me, especially with Passover just days away. New York City stands with Israel.
While there is no direct or imminent threat to New York City at this time, we have directed the NYPD to deploy additional resources to Jewish communities and houses of worship citywide out of abundance of caution.
If you stand with Israel, why are you allowing rabid Palestinians to attack police officers and threaten the safety of all New Yorkers? Why are you allowing people to wave HAMAS flags in Times Square? I don’t even feel safe enough in NYC right now to take the Subway. I am worried there will be a bombing. And I’m not the only one either.
@NYCMayor They had to talk you out of calling it the Israel of America huh
How about you put actions where your mouth is - our streets & bridges have been seized by terror sympathizers - Dept of Ed. have done nothing to reduce faculty & student vocal organized support for terror groups - Jewish neighborhoods have been target of anti Jew violence Where are your actions?
@NYCMayor What do you have to do with Israel vs Iran? Maybe focus on making sure people can walk down the street without getting jumped. 🤡
@NYCMayor Why don’t you take them all in? Do the right thing and you can even call it “New Israel” instead of New York 👍
@NYCMayor Then kick those guys out of the country! Make it illegal for them to do what they're doing.
