Yesterday morning, when calls rang out for a man in the water at East River near the shoreline, @NYPDSpecialops Harbor Unit, Emergency Service Unit, & @FDNY responded and rescued the man to safety. Another incident of NY's Finest and NY's Bravest working together to save a life!
Earlier this week, our Emergency Service Unit officers from Truck3 were called to a person not breathing. The members quickly responded & assessed the situation before beginning CPR. The members utilized life-saving measures & were able to successfully revive the aided.

Members of the Strategic Response Group are cross-trained in many disciplines, including HazMat mitigation. SRG members train & work closely with ESU members, which allows for a unified Special Operations response to critical incidents throughout NYC.

Great job by SRG 3 Sergeant Castillo & Officer Oner with the arrest of 2 suspects in possession of a stolen firearm. While on patrol, the team had stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the investigation, the officers observed the gun inside the vehicle.
