Congratulations to Joy Harjo on getting a 2nd term as U.S. Poet Laureate! She made history by being the 1st Native Poet (Mvskoke Nation) to hold the position! She's also a friend of the Native Pride Project and generously included a poem to the kids in the Native Pride Pack!

Native Pride Day will be delayed until it is safe to have a day with 1000 kids gathered. However, we will start printing gifts to send to our donators. As well as a Native Pride Packs to be sent out while distributing food, masks, & soap. These will be donated by @LucasBrownEyes

The Oglala Sioux Tribe has declared a state of emergency due to the coronavirus. Because of this we will be postponing our #NativePrideDay to the summer. But will be sending soap and hand sanitizer to the Allen Youth Center. #NativePrideSummer @OneSpiritLakota @NativePrideProj
