NEW‼️- ARE YOU WORRIED QUANTUM COMPUTING WILL BREAK BITCOIN? 💥 MICHAEL SAYLOR:
@NeilJacobs I disagree, we should start worrying about it. The danger is no immediate but the solution is non-obvious, could be technically challenging, and will be controversial.
@NeilJacobs Yes, I'm worried but mostly because we need to properly frame the issue so we can effectively take action. x.com/LilicJohn/stat…

@NeilJacobs I thought it was energy not software so whenever there is a problem we just upgrade the software right? By the way Software is not the hardest asset in the world hence the name "Soft" Ware
@NeilJacobs One of the best responses Michael Saylor could have possibly given. Man, he's good.
@NeilJacobs “We’ll just upgrade the software” no big deal 😂
@NeilJacobs More likely a 3200 pound carrot will break Saylors two front teeth
@NeilJacobs Neil, Michael is right in a way but SO WRONG in another. Can we do an interview so I can explain to you how he is wrong?
@NeilJacobs So if quantum computers come, your bank accounts will be stolen before your bitcoins! 😱 #QuantumComputing #Cybersecurity #BankAccounts #Bitcoins #Technology
@NeilJacobs Saylor has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. It doesn't work this way. You can't just "Bitcoin network hardware upgrade, Bitcoin network software upgrade" to avoid quantum attacks.
@NeilJacobs @BTQ_Tech $BTQQF is working diligently with partners around the world on post quantum computing technology to provide security for $BTC and other sectors like healthcare and defense !
He's a polished salesman. Except Microsoft and Google are already upgrading their software. And governments, and banks. In 3 months he'll start telling us they have an upgrade plan because his current answer won't work anymore. Notice he thinks it's a quantum yoyo narrative. It's not, it's an understood risk. Prepare or fade
@NeilJacobs "We're just going to upgrade the software, Joe."
@NeilJacobs My boy @saylor always on message and so darn logical! Glad you are not political and glad you are razor sharp focused on all things @Strategy
@NeilJacobs Professor @saylor delivers again on fishing and quantum! Excellent video!
@NeilJacobs Though you can update new and active wallets, you cannot (to my knowledge) update software of old wallets with quantum resistance. One day far away this might be a challenge.
@NeilJacobs The Great Orange Wave 🧡🌊
Saylor schools the fools as usual. I say again don't worry about quantum threats or Ai threats to Bitcoin. I posted some time ago. This is nothing new. The threats and the cure is a perpetual thing, it's always evolving and changing. For every threat comes a counter measure and for every counter measure comes a new threat. This does not stop, and Bitcoin is the nemesis. It is a protocol with the best security in the world, and that will evolve as time goes by.
For this to happen 51% of the network must agree on this “software upgrade” Key questions: - Does this centralize bitcoin? - How often does it need to be updated, considering tech advancements only gets faster? - Ethereum has the EF, what does Bitcoin have to decide and create a solution? - Does this introduce counterparty risk??? The Quantum conversation is really an interesting one for the future of Bitcoin
@NeilJacobs MS remains the biggest BTC bull ever!!
@NeilJacobs @Jaffytaffy24 The best solution I've seen so far is a soft fork to upgrade signing to a quantum resistant algorithm and have everyone just move their coins to a new address. The 6 million or so lost coins that didn't move would just be a bounty for the first quantum computer to claim.
@NeilJacobs Is this the boomer version of my computer will blow up at midnight 12/31/99
@NeilJacobs "It's mainly marketing by people who want to sell you the next Quantum $YOYO token" 🤣
@NeilJacobs the QC was on top of my shoulders.
@NeilJacobs Michael actually has 21 reasons to buy Bitcoin
