Dear @PhilipHammondUK. The doubling of Insurance Premium Tax has affected the uptake of insurance, penalising 20 million motorists, 20 million home insurance customers & 3.5 million pet insurance customers. We're calling for a freeze for the rest of this Parliament. #IPTsUnfair

After a long & complex road & a lot of @BIBAbroker lobbying, glad to get confirmation from EU Commission today the IDD & delegated acts are being delayed. The national implementing law must be in place 1.7.18 & APPLICATION date (for IPID, POG, CPD etc) now 1.10.18.

Cambridge is most vocal tour event so far as brokers raise issues on the cost of small firms complying with FCA Gabriel twice a year, GDPR restrictions on marketing, Ogden, Older customers, Flood Re, Terrorism & self drive hire, experience of FCA staff, sharing economy, & Brexit
