youtu.be/FLb9EIiSyG8 I found this video where Researchers take visual data from a cat's brain and compare the input and output image. The blurriness of the output image could be attributed to neural activity. Also, note the cat's expression throughout the video.

We usuall ythink of electrical stimulation in terms of excitation but the opposite charge can suppress completely harmlessly. It's used to stop seizures

@NeuralNetNews @ValterYishai That would be very challenging. All these technologies are invasive and you have to have the electrode in the right place of the brain to receive the stimulation. One way would be to replace invasive technology by non-invasive ones and they are not as effective as the invasives.
