If public schools insist on not re-opening until it's 100% perfectly safe (i.e. never) because they are beholden to teachers unions, we really should just defund them and give the money back to parents so they can arrange private education, tutors, daycare, homeschool pods, etc.

News is reality TV News is not designed to inform. Like all television, it’s a platform for delivering advertising. Most TV shows do this through entertainment, news outlets through emotionally supercharging politics. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you’ll regain sanity

I doubt I am the only person frustrated by National-Debt-financed bailouts of companies that leveraged up large to buy back stock to levitate share prices to enrich shareholders and company executives.
