Coding backend in Go daily | Building in Next.js | 100+ day streak | Posting devlogs + chaos

Learned a new Lesson. DON'T...Just don't download any random libraries and packages you find after single google search , it'll save you countless hours
Most people don't even know beside npm they can also use pnpm and yarn as node package manager. Or you can just skip node altogether and try bun and deno
Day 88 6hr backend grind(I'm not a masochist, believe me)
1) Google + GitHub OAuth
2) Redis blacklist tokens
3) Fiber routes everywhere
My main file looks cleaner than my desk now with 1000 bugs waiting to jumpscare me
backend chaos slowly turning into architecture 🔥
Day 86 and 87 have been rough . Piled up more assignments than JavaScript frontend frameworks in existence . But I am back and starting with Linkshortener project that will take me another century to complete. Until then have a look at these pictures I took of bappa :
MOORYA
Day 85 DSA grind:
even ‘simple’ stuff like prime check & divisors can be optimized. √n loops, divisor pairing, digit tricks → small changes, big speed. In Go 🐹⚡
Day 82: Realized DSA isn’t just problems, it’s how you handle time and space itself
⚡ Time complexity ≠ time taken
⚡ Worst case > best case
⚡ Big-O, Θ, Ω → bounds of growth
⚡ Space = aux + input
⚡ Don’t manipulate data directly, take extra space for clarity.

Day 81
College not in my favour but I still leveled up in nextjs:
Prisma + Prisma Client
Clerk SDK
shadcn/ui
“@” imports for routing sanity
page.ts / page.tsx ease
Next.js isn’t just frontend framework, it's used for creation of entire fullstack

Day 79
No shiny project updates today. Just grinding repetitive SQL queries on paper for a college assignment.
Feels useless, but even this is reps for the brain.
Some days are about showing up.
#DevJourney#SQL
Day 78
Learned about different trees in forest of databases:
Binary Search Trees
M-way Trees
B-Trees
B+ Trees (database indexing MVP)
Even “simple” trees hold up the internet.
#DevJourney#DSA#Databases
Day 77
Learned SQL from inside out:
Rows & columns (logical)
Data pages = headers + records + offsets
DBMS manages these in memory
Indexing = queries on steroids ⚡
Databases aren’t just tables,they’re machines.
#DevJourney#Databases
Day 73 🔥
Today I cracked open the insides of NoSQL databases.
Learned about:
Sharding
Replication
Virtual nodes
Eventual consistency
Basically saw how databases survive chaos at scale.
#DevJourney#NoSQL#DistributedSystems
Day 71
Less corpse, more alive → so I studied how YouTube & Netflix actually work.
S3 buckets, separate video servers, why MongoDB (NOSQL)> SQL, client uploads, CDNs, compression, chunks, codecs…
Basically I saw the skeleton of the internet.
#DevJourney#SystemDesign#BigBrain
Days 67–69: Boss fight with sickness 🤧
Day 70: Still half-dead but deleted Windows, installed Linux 🐧(Pop!_OS)
Also discovered Big Tech’s secret languages nobody talks about OCaml, Elixir, Erlang 👀
Moving limbs hurts but code waits for no one.
#DevLife#Linux#RiseFromTheDead
DAY 66
Me vs Docker: A war of wits, patience, and desk-slamming fury.
Lost my countless hours today(and lot of sanity Mixed with redbull)
And finally docker lords blessed me at end. Today was a wild day.
#DevLife#Docker#ProgrammerProblems#Victory
Day 65
UI/UX slapped me harder than I expected
TailwindCSS + daisyUI in hand, still getting humbled.
Project is almost done (just routing left)
Also met OpenZeppelin today , a true blockchain lifesaver
Day 64 — lukewarm but still cooking
One LeetCode problem → destroyed me
Tested frontend + backend → CORS pinned me to the ground
Still… learned, grew, survived.
Not every day is fireworks, some days are just sharpening the sword. ⚔️
Day 63 — Started my LeetCode arc ⚔️
Two Sum
Remove Duplicates from Sorted Array
Remove Element
Longest Common Prefix
These problems didn’t just test me… they challengd me .
Confused? Absolutely.
Survived? Just Barely.
Journey has begun.
Day 61 — The backend is ALIVE ⚡
After centuries of head-banging, I finally built my task manager backend:
Go Fiber + Supabase RLS + Redis token blacklist.
It authenticates. It secures. It logs out.
It works.
