Last week, Treasury went live with its first automated payment verification system. In total, $334 million in improper payment requests were identified and rejected due to: -Missing budget codes -Invalid budget codes (i.e. the payment was not linked to the budget) -Budget codes with no authorization (i.e. the budget had already been fully spent)

@DOGE So let me get this straight, our government was handing out trillions with fewer checks than a Chuck E. Cheese arcade, and we’re just now fixing that? How is this not the biggest story in the country?
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Because Democrats run the media and don’t run stories that harm Democrats or that expose corruption that benefits Democrats.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE $4.7 trillion went out the door that way. Democrats don't want it fixed.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE It’s undercutting Democrats, who were getting kickbacks from those payments that were being sent out illegally, they’re very unhappy
@NotTheirScript @DOGE What media misses in top news articles is absolutely astounding. Maybe. Unless one knows the freaking media is paid off. Was hoping finding USAID abuse would slow media lies. 😕 Sure, they are hard at work finding other govt free portals.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE The 334 million, which weren't all going to be paid out otherwise, is a very very small fraction of the total government spending. I'm all for correctness, but the assumptions people make about these numbers don't really check out.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Because the administration has an 'R' instead of a 'D' in front of its name, the mainstream media and political opponents are downplaying the issue.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE It IS the biggest story in country. They just have a different spin on it. Specifically, they talk about peacefully firebombing Tesla showrooms because Elon is leading the efforts to end this insanity.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Maybe because Janet Yellen was nothing but a “transitory” Sec Treasury under Biden and didn’t know what the hell she was doing🤷♀️ no surprise there … her resume performance grades reads like one incompetent failure after another🤦♀️
No propaganda outlet will put out this information. Everyone knows the propaganda machine must continue to spew lies. Have awards for themselves. Slap themselves on the back and say attaboy. We missed the biggest story in American History! We didn’t cover it oh well, maybe next time.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Because legacy media is the coverup.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE The media is part of the swamp. USIAD and other NGOs funded them heavily, ensuring they could dictate the narratives.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE We have no elected officials in Congress who can count or care to.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Because the mainstream media works for the Deep State.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Democrats were were scamming the government
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Because the veil would be lifted and they would lose power. Who is “they”? They are our rulers and their enablers. We haven’t been federally governed since 1912.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Yep. That’s exactly what they were doing. They were minting themselves essentially unlimited money.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Because Main Street media was getting paid!
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Right. Which says the Dem-Media Complex has been using our money to fund their revolution against America.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Because half the country is still drinking hatred propaganda from a firehouse. People loath Trump and Elon Musk by proxy to a scary level. I over hear conversations at work that sound like a 1990s Baptist screaming about how video games and MTV are the devil.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE You can't hate MSM enough!
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Maybe because most of what Musk says isn't true. Especially when it's about DOGE, a simplistic, blundering project that has cost Americans more money than it has saved them.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE Great question. I'd like to recommend we water board all of Congress and get some real answers. FYI, torture does work.
@NotTheirScript @DOGE And Rand Paul wants to limit the President’s Tariffs and have a “committee” create the tariffs. He’s part of the problem
