When I'm doing portfolio reviews, the biggest thing I repeat to people is that a bunch of illustrations =/= an animation portfolio. That's an illustration portfolio! You need to study the needs of a tv production and make work that could actually be used in an animation pipeline.

I find it very odd that ive not been able to work on my bg portfolio for months due to depression but this freelance animation gig is really helping me bounce back. I always found straight animating tedious, but now its fun. Huh.
