The East Central District held a great retreat for CDJFS Directors today, which included presentations from ODJFS on the TANF Block Grant and the Benefit Bridge.

Congratulations to Perry County JFS Director Cheryl Boley! She was recently the recipient of the APHSA Outstanding Local Member Award for her commitment to building thriving communities.
County JFS Directors are working hard to represent their communities on Ohio's legislative committees! Recently Director Somerlot of Marion testified and Director Patton of Allen (shown with Director Damschroder) attended the committee examining publicly funded child care.

OJFSDA helped coordinate a visit between Greene County caseworkers, supervisors, & leadership to discuss Ohio Benefits with leadership from the Ohio Departments of Administrative Services, JFS, Medicaid, and system designers and developers from Accenture. It was a great meeting!
