Migration of humans is normal. Migration to something better and going through the process is a good thing. Illegal immigration is illegal access. This should not be rewarded or promoted. Noone benefits from illegal immigration

Renewable energy is reducing pollution, cutting out operational input requirements for power generation facilities, and reducing the cost of electricity. Yes it isn't available 24/7 and there are end of life issues but it's moving in the right direction
