I’ll foreshadow what will happen in the 2026 Anime Fandom: Frieren fans will push it as Anime of the Year and claim it’s deeper and better than every other series. They’ll compare Frieren to JJK all year, while ignoring much deeper and better-written shows like Re:Zero Season 4
These clowns call Re:Zero’s psychology "anime exaggerated" but Takopi realistic? Every pedagogy expert calls Takopi nonsense and surface-level, while psychologists consistently praise Re:Zero’s character writing. Has Trash Taste ever mentioned Re:Zero without downplaying it😭
It's sad that Re:Zero, despite having a solid 13-year-old fanbase, has 4–5 times fewer ratings than new anime series with no fanbases. Re:Zero’s overall and Season 1 episode ratings are also low due to the Waifu Wars and review bombing by Rem fans in 2016. 👇 Vote Link in Reply
Many people forget that Re:Zero Anime begins with Subaru reading a cheesy high school romance manga in a convenience store. He notices a happy couple walking outside the store. This scene is perfect in every way, from foreshadowing to themes and is very underrated.
5 years ago, one of the best episodes of Re:Zero, "The Value of Life", aired for the first time. Subaru's voice actor also won Best Voice Actor of the Year for his performance in this episode 🏆

I hear some people saying not to hype Re:Zero Season 4. The minimum standard for Re:Zero Season 4 should be the greatest anime arc of all time, nothing less. If Re:Zero Season 4 isn’t recognized as the best arc in all of anime, then it’s simply a failed adaptation.

Never forget that White Fox renamed the Re:Zero's "Stars That Engrave History" to the "Attack Arc" and "Counterattack Arc" and gave them both generic looking isekai posters. Japan Marketing 😭
Re:Zero Anime needs creative info screens like Attack on Titan’s. They could: - Reintroduce cut content (Great Waterfall, Al’s isekai, etc.) - Provide details about Lugunica, Vollachia, Kararagi, Gusteko, Magic, Authorities, DPs, Curses, Races, Species, Map, Geography and more.
Re:Zero was the #1 best-selling title in Q1 2025, according to KADOKAWA. I hope KADOKAWA finally realizes the potential of expanding the Re:Zero universe by adapting the already-written side stories using different studios.
I would gladly sacrifice myself to have WiT Studio adapt the Re:Zero Sword Demon Trilogy. It’s a perfect project for WiT, and KADOKAWA could easily finance it. I don’t understand why Re:Zero side contents aren’t adapted by different studios?
