Caddy 2's architecture is novel. I highly recommend this conf if you: - are a front-end dev looking to rapidly develop web sites and apps - write #golang-powered web services - are curious about cutting-edge Internet tools / server tech - care about Internet security and privacy

Caddy 2 will grant you a lot more control over automatic HTTPS. Still on by default, but you can turn it off for specific names, or turn off just the cert management, or just the HTTP->HTTP redirects, for just certain names.
