The Class of 2025 finished up their semester with a mentor day for the Neurological Exam and Evaluation course. They were able to practice techniques they learned throughout the semester. Thank you to the mentors who came out to support our students!
The Professional Year 1 students act out and resolve ethical problems in PT 6511 Professional Issues I. This exercise is a great formative experience to build skills towards ethical decision making as students and emerging professionals.
Students from the OU DPT 3rd year cohort gave a presentation of their work in Dr. Doug Creighton’s Arthrology course to both the OU DPT 1st year cohort as well as our guests from the Baker College Metro Campus’ PTA program. What a great and informative event!
This past week the PY2's benefited from an aquatic therapy lecture and lab taught by Robin W. Robin is an OU DPT and OMPT Alumni. The students were educated on the patient population that would benefit from aquatic therapy and best practices in exercise prescription in the pool.
