I'm using @MikeJS23 work for anonymous access on my GitLab instance : git.hoa.ro

Updating production server from PGitLab to GitLabHQ version right now...

@chemphillSZ Now, I have to write a guide to switch back on the main repo, without breaking everything. Probably this WE, if not earlier.

If GitLab 7.0 really handle public access properly, I'll write a guide to go back on the officiel repo without damage. :)

It will come with GitLab 7.0 in 2 or 3 months. I'll continue to follow upstream update until then.

Public part changes in 6.0: the user view is now only displaying projects where you're more than reporter (in permission hierarchy).

Public part changes in 6.0: anonymous users are now allowed to contribute (report issues, comment, etc.).
