DOD recruiting! In my book, I used their recruiting videos beginning in 2005 to show how much the recruiting moments in 18th-century plays used the same tactics aimed at mothers. The classic mother in the woods with ghillie suit son is being shown as are a batch of new ones.

I stayed up too late watching Auburn play Cal! That should be "their production of Cato."

Faculty Covid books. In addition to problems with prizes, some of our books, like mine, were not sent to periodicals for review or sent electronically when print was required. And I've been told it was hard to get reviewers. What were your experiences? Is your press helping now?

In a generous announcement ASTR changed its Barnard Hewitt Award cycle Because of Covid, it “came to attention that some publishers had not sent out authors’ books to be considered for this year’s prize.” Did you publish a Covid book? What consequences have ou experienced.
