With all the “Roaring Kitty is going to jail” posts on X can anyone explain to me in 5th grade English how sharing a legal trade you made in a company with $200M of your own money is illegal? 🔽
Nice break of my $SPX wedge. With quarter end next week, it’s possible to back test before the real fall imho. And if direct down ? Cool. You had a heads up 🤝
In my years of trading I've used this approach as well for likely price points after declines like we had the last 3 days. Notice the locus of price from $661-662 for $SPY. These price levels are often magnets off short-term bottoms.
No coincidences in the markets. $SPY tagged support at $654 & I think it'll likely bounce to $661-662 before the decline in this corrective pattern resumes. I'm in all cash going into PCE. If I'm wrong that's fine, I cashed out my $664 Oct 17 puts for a solid 5 figure profit.
VIX printed lower high at 2pm est. of 17.17 while $SPY made a lower low at 2pm est. (VIX high was 17.74 at 9:30 am est). My call is a likely move higher for $SPY tomorrow. All puts sold.
This is insanity. If Bessent thinks it’ll resolve with a Fed rate cut or two he’s blind. 🔽
Closed all but 5 contracts of my Oct 17, $664 position. The trade netted 40% but considering last Friday it was red by 20% I’m grateful. I think we rally tomorrow even if 3 black crows print today. It’ll likely be a bull trap. NFA! 💯
Note: how many followers a trader has doesn’t correlate to their trading ability. I follow numerous successful & highly competent traders with less than 10K followers. Social media metrics don’t = knowledge rank. 💯
Trading PSA: If today closes below $659.7 & on high volume that will signal a shift to a bonafide corrective move with an ominous “3 Black Crows” pattern confirmed which is the most significant in predicting lower prices ahead. You want to see expanding volume with each drop.
$SPY volume is trending 25% above average today with nearly 43M shares traded at midday.
Fed cuts rates & the 10 yr yield gives higher rates since. But Bessent says … “lower rates will help families buy a house!” Grifters doing the grifter thing.
If you think the people constructing all of these data centers & ‘AI’ right now are doing so so that you can go pick daisies & live in utopia on UBI & sedatives, open your 👁️👁️
